Vacant positions are now available at the DHI-NTU Centre. DHI-NTU Centre will be a corner stone in architecting the next generation of DHI Software products – with respect to both the mathematical, numerical and software aspects.
As a member of the DHI-NTU Centre, you will participate in defining and developing the next generation of the MIKE software products. The work includes close co-operation with Product Managers, Domain Specialists and Software Developers within the DHI Software Product organisation within the global DHI Group. We welcome masters who would like to obtain a PhD as part of their engagement with DHI.
Software EngineerAs a member of the DHI-NTU Research Centre, you will participate in defining and developing the next generation of the MIKE software products. You will work in close co-operation with Product Managers, Domain Specialists and Software Developers within the DHI Software Product organisation within the global DHI Group. You will be working in a team environment, focusing on constructing solutions and components that will become the corner stone of the future DHI Software products. It will be your responsibility that the components are designed and coded according to specifications and with a high degree of quality.
As a Software Developer, you will be working in teams with constructing solutions and components that will become the corner stone of the future DHI Software products. Your experience will include NET, C#, COM, VC++ and MFC, Visual Studio, UML, Database design (SQL, Oracle) and/or Unit testing. You must have excellent written and communication skills. Applicants who are flexible for working with different types of technologies and different DHI products, and are willing to travel to Denmark and/or other DHI offices for shorter visits will have an advantage. As a mathematical engineer, you will be working with performance and data management aspects of the mathematical engines. This comprises, but is not limited to, improving performance through parallelization, domain decoupling of the solution domain, handling of large data volumes, gridding and triangulation. You have a very good understanding of the Microsoft software development models and toolset. Your experience will include a master degree (or similar) in the area of mathematical modelling of physical processes, programming in FORTRAN, C++, and Delphi and/or C #, and a strong interest in developing software. Applicants who are flexible for working with different types of technologies and different DHI products, and are willing to travel to Denmark and/or other DHI offices for shorter visits will have an advantage.
