Singapore International Water Week (2008)

DHI-NTU Research Centre and Education Hub (DHI-NTU Centre) is participating in the inaugural Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), which will be held from 23 to 27 June 2008. Themed "Sustainable Water Solutions for Cities", the SIWW brings together policy makers, industry leaders and practictioners worldwide to address challenges and showcase technologies in solving water issues.

The Centre would like to invite you to visit us at our exhibition booth (booth number C28 and C29). The exhibition will be held at Hall 401 at SUNTEC Singapore International Conference & Exhibition Centre from 24 to 26 June 2008.

The Centre will also be presenting during the Water Convention.

  • On 25 June 2008, Mr Jesper Kjelds will be presenting an half hour lecture on "Decision Support Systems for Water Resources Management".
  • Mr Jorn Rasmussen will be presenting a poster on "Climate Change Impacts on Urban Drainage Systems".

About DHI-NTU Centre
Jointly established in October 2007 by DHI Singapore and Nanyang Technological University with support from the Environment and Water Industry Development Council (EWI), the DHI-NTU Centre is an interdisciplinary research and training centre for the water and environment. The centre aims to generate water knowledge, and to strengthen the water and environment industry in Singapore via development of innovative solutions and water technologies.

To strengthen the manpower of the water and environment industry, the DHI-NTU Centre provides vocational and post-graduate training courses for water professionals and personnel seeking to develop in these areas.
