The NEWRI Research Centres have been officially launch on the 5 October 2009 at Foyer, School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

The three centres that being launched are the the DHI-NTU Water and Environment Research Centre and Education Hub (DHI-NTU Centre), Singapore Membrane Technology Centre (SMTC), and the Residues and Resource Reclamation Centre (R3C).

NEWRI (Nanyang Environment and Water Research Institute) is an ecosystem of research groups and centres in Environmental Sciences and Engineering. More information regarding the NEWRI Ecosystem is available on http://www3.ntu.edu.sg/NEWRI/Home/.
