DHI-NTU Centre is participating in the 6th Asia-Pacific MIKE by DHI Software Conference which will be held from 12 to 13 October 2009 at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, The Waterfron Conference Centre, Singapore.

This Conference aims to create a truly international environment and venue for learning about the latest releases, future directions of MIKE by DHI Software and research and development in general.

Several researchers from the DHI-NTU Centre are presenting papers at the Conference:

• Dr Ole Larsen (Centre Director of DHI-NTU Water & Environment Research Centre & Education Hub) will be presenting papers on DHI-NTU Research Centre contribute to development of sustainable water management, Changing Climate in cities : Hydrology and Flooding, Urban Flooding: Advantages of coupling storm water, channel flow and 2-D modeling to calculate urban inundation, and DHI-NTU Centre Partnership
• Mr Lars C Larsen, our Senior Research Engineer, will be presenting paper on Holistic planning tools for the Urban Water Cycle
• Mr Su Xiaohui, our Hydraulic Engineer, will be presenting paper on Detail modeling of cooling water intake with CFD
• Mr Stefan Leschka, our Senior Project Engineer, will be presenting paper on A tsunami generation tool to calculate sea bottom deformation for MIKE 21HD
