The 5th International Conference on Asian and Pacific Coasts (APAC2009) will be held on the campus of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, from 13 to 16 October 2009.
The aim of APAC is to promote technological progress and activities, information exchange and cooperation. It is also a platform for engineers and researchers to keep abreast of the scientific and technological advance in development of coastal, port, and ocean engineering and other related fields.
Several researchers of the DHI-NTU Centre are presenting lastest researches and advances at the conference.
- Stefan Leschka, will presenting paper on On The Influence of Nearshore Bathymetry Data Quality on Tsunami Runup Modelling
- Su XiaoHui, will be presenting paper on Adaptive Immersed Object Method for Moving Objects in Flow Fields
And there is paper under DHI-NTU Centre project on Modelling The Physical Properties Of Fine Suspended Sediments which will be presented by Hoang-Ha Nguyen and Lloyd H.C. Chua.
Also Dr Ole Larsen (our Centre Director of DHI-NTU Water and Environment Research Center and Education Hub) is one of the International Scientific Committee for this Conference.
